What is Eczema?

Eczema also called dermatitis is a group of skin diseases characterized by inflammation, irritation, dryness, and itching. Symptoms vary from person to person and few people may also experience blister formation and cracks with bleeding.

What causes Eczema?

The exact causative factor for eczema remains unknown. In majority of cases, genetic predisposition is the underlying cause. Other probable cause of this condition includes dry skin, stress, infection caused by certain bacteria and viruses, irritants like detergents, shampoos, dust mites, pollen, cigarette smoking, meat, dairy products etc.
